The schedule of World Pyro Olympics for November 28, December 5, 12, and 19 were moved sometime January 2010. This was the announcement made by the Executive Committee which was agreed on by the participating countries - Canada, Australia; Japan, Italy; South Korea, United States of America; the Philippines, Germany, and China
Follow up:
The incessant rains and flooding during the past months have rendered the firing area almost unfit for pyrotechnics launchings which have certain international standards to observe. The participating countries have thus agreed to reschedule the event.
All tickets purchased will still be valid on the new event dates, so do not worry much about it except for the fact that you should not forget where you kept it. Ticket holders are also requested to contact the WPO hotlines at 568-6908 or 384-0239.
For now, all we can do is wait and cherish the first day of the event where we all were soaking wet. I will be posting my photos of Germany and China later this week so watch out for it.
