now it’s Signal #1 (figuratively
)
No one is budging… what storm?
At this point, it doesn’t matter whether you have an umbrella or not, you will surely get wet. The strong winds with the rain is blowing towards us, and we’re in an area where there are not much buildings.
Even a helicopter made an emergency langding…
Yep, we’re wet, dripping.. (me on the left)
And that ends the story of the South Super Highway portion of Makati City from Barangay Palanan, Barangay San Antonio, Barangay Pio del Pilar, Barangay Bangkal, and Barangay Magallanes. My best guess, I walked 80% to 90% of the length of President Osmeña Highway that is within the territory of the City of Makati.
A history in the making and a very memorable experience for me. When I was there, it wasn’t just Senator Ninoy that was in my mind, I also felt how it was like when the Nation mourned for President Ramon Magsaysay. Two Presidents that made a huge difference in this country that the Filipinos will love for as long as our race lives.
Goodbye Corazon “Cory” Aquino, 11th President of the Republic of the Philippines.
