At Barangay San Antonio, Makati City
And this is what I call raining
We’re still in Makati City
I’m walking back at this point, headed back to where I started, Barangay Bangkal. This is the North end of the South Super Highway “Buendia” Flyover.
Under the flyover
As I’ve said, Filipinos will climb anywhere…
These people weren’t here when I first passed by the Buendia Skyway ramp at around 1:48pm. This only shows how much the crowd has grown since I first started my photo documentation, this was around 2:59pm. And the cortege at this point will still take 2 to 3 hours more to reach this point.
The helicopter (I think ABS-CBN’s Sky Patrol) covering the cortege. The cortege at this time, if I will take a guess is still stuck in Manila’s portion of President Osmeña Highway where radio coverage said that the Manileños were intentionally blocking the cortege. That’s how much they love Cory Aquino.
And guess who was leading… far ahead, the funeral cortege…
People were shouting, “Ako na ang papadyak!"; “Sama-sama tayo!” then another followed up, “pero mauuna na ako!” Oh well..
The crowd along the South Super Highway - Pasay Road interchange… again, these people weren’t here an hour earlier
Back at AMA Makati Campus (South Super Highway corner Tinio St. Bangkal, Makati City)
In front of Yellow Cab Pizza Main office, Bangkal, Makati City
Yes, that’s how slow they’re going because of the immense crowd. And yes, I was trying to get good shots of him so I walked ahead of them
And I’m back to where I started, Bangkal, Makati City, 3:19pm
In General
