I’m sure you saw the cool map in this blog before you read this (unless you’re reading my blog via RSS/Atom) and you remembered “Google Maps".
It’s actually the same. Google released an API for Google Maps so anyone who wishes to add the functionality of Google Maps in their applications can make use of the gMap resources. And if you are like me who do not know or still learning about AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript And XML) and yet you want a cool map yourself, say for your MySpace or Friendster profiles, then get Frappr, a free AJAX Map service.
Frappr also offer a slide and group features as well as free forums. I can’t help but wonder what else frappr will offer and maybe they will become yet one of the popular free services out there. Let’s just hope that they have gone far in the race before someone else duplicates their service - you know, too many duplicates only splits the community = register here, register there and eventually your friends and relatives sticks to one service while you in the other service..

In need of MSN, Yahoo! or ICQ/AOL Messenger but the workstation you are using do not have it installed? You can’t download and install it coz the PC’s locked and all other reasons why you can’t use it?
E-Messenger.net is for you. Housing 3 popular Instant Messenger (IM) applications - MSN, Yahoo! and ICQ/AOL in one site, one URL to remember. They currently do not have gTalk or Google Talk, Google’s own IM, but for sure one day they will provide it.
What’s good with e-messenger.net beside remembering on URL for various IM applications is that they constantly improve their web based version of these messengers to the latest technology can offer, currently they are testing the AJAX version for MSN Messenger which we all know that the official web-version of MSN Messenger is still non-AJAX.
AJAX is the thing today, it’s only right to offer AJAX services, E-Messenger’s MSN AJAX version is for you… maybe one day we will see AJAX versions for Yahoo! and ICQ/AOL.
If you’re wondering where ICQ is, just login using your UIN (Universal Internet Number) in the AOL login portion of E-Messenger.net.

Talk about Feed readers…
There are now countless of Feed readers out there, from desktop applications to web versions. I’ve tried various of these apps and online versions and so far nothing really impressed me except Google Reader (http://reader.google.com), Google’s very own Feed Reader.
What separates Google Reader from the rest?
